Daniel Coll is a British actor, presenter, director and producer whose work spans television, film, radio, West End theatre, documentary and travel programming. He trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and later completed an MA in Filmmaking at Sheffield Hallam University.

As a performer, Daniel has worked across television drama, feature film, musical theatre, radio drama and touring theatre. His screen work includes Emmerdale, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Brassic, Gentleman Jack, Heartbeat, Where The Heart Is, Always and Everyone, Waterloo Road, Netflix’s The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, The Crown, Little Bird, Braveheart, Northern Soul, Bullseye! and The More You Ignore Me.

Through Picture Point Films, Daniel develops and produces documentary, drama and factual entertainment, combining an actor’s understanding of performance with a producer’s eye for story, audience and distribution.

Daniel’s acting career has moved between screen, stage and radio, with a particular strength in grounded, character-led British drama. On television he is known for playing DI Blackmore in Emmerdale, alongside appearances in EastEnders, Coronation Street, Brassic, Gentleman Jack, Heartbeat, Where The Heart Is, Always and Everyone, Waterloo Road, Netflix’s The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, The Crown and Little Bird.


His film work includes Captain York Castle in Braveheart, Yarwood in Northern Soul, Tim in Bullseye!, Jim in The More You Ignore Me, and leading or featured roles in independent films including 2 Miles Under, Mudskipper and Letters Home.


On stage, Daniel’s credits include major West End and touring theatre: Les Misérables, Billy Elliot the Musical, Wonderful Town, Wind in the Willows, Great Expectations, Hobson’s Choice, Jesus Christ Superstar and extensive pantomime and musical theatre work. His radio credits include lead roles for BBC Radio 4.
